About me

From Beginnings to now

I was Born in 1998 and inspired by the video game music that was played around my house whether it be my Dad playing the original Doom or me and my sister trying to beat Sonic the Hedgehog the iconic tunes stuck throughout my whole childhood.

The idea of creating and playing music never really crossed my radar untill the discovery of youtube where i saw covers of my favourite video games being played back on the guitar so i picked up the guitar in the summer of 2012 and took lessons from a Folk guitarist at Great Barr secondary.

it was not long after that I discovered Metallica and that threw the door wide open for me and I wanted to be Metallica. Lot long after that I discovered so many more bands that filled my need for Heavy Metal. Bands such as: Judas Priest, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Trivium and Slipknot to name a few. To say I probably annoyed my family with the oversaturated guitars and screaming vocals is probably and understatment that being said it was a far cry from the pop music that was on the radio that i so ignorantly disliked.

My passion to become a producer and working for video game music actually came about in 2016 with the release of the Doom reboot where the awesome soundtrack was composed by Mick Gordon and from that point on i wanted to have an opportunity to work on video games. I payed more attention to the music of games after that such as the composers. Mick Gordon, Alexander Brandon, Jun Seyone, Toby Fox and Stephan Barton are just a few of the video game composers that influence me with a multitude of genres ranging from brutal metal to electronic, blues and even orchestra. I began my college course in 2017 studying popular music practise and it opened my eyes to the weath to music, granted it burst open my "metal is all good music" bubble but I discovered there was more to music than I was willing to give it credit.

Currently I am working towards my goal and aspiring to be a musical composer and producer to video games and with a lot of hard work, endless demo's and persistance i will achieve that.
